Capital Management Services Inc. is reported to be affiliated with a large group of collection agencies referred to as the "Sherman Companies". Controlled by Sherman Financial Group LLC, the "Sherman Companies" are said to consist of LVNV Funding, Alegis Group LP and Resurgent Capital Services LP, which are all collection companies also operating in the United States. Specializing in the collection of delinquent debt, Capital Management Services Inc. is unfortunately known for its aggressive collection methods which include harassing phone calls and threatening letters.
As the consumers' personal credit file can be critically damaged by the frivolous reporting of negative information by collection agencies, quite a few federal laws have been passed that grant consumers the right to dispute and potentially remove the negative credit information placed on their personal credit file by collection agencies.
I had numerous collections, civil liens and judgments being reported on my personal credit file that were damaging my credit score and affecting my ability to obtain credit.
