Incorporated in California, Nevada, Arizona and Texas, Grant and Weber is a collection agency that performs numerous practices but specializes in collecting unpaid consumer debt in the healthcare industry. Grant and Weber is known to employ aggressive techniques when attempting to collect debt from the consumer such as harassing phone calls and collection letters. Grant and Weber will also go to the extent of reporting derogatory information on the consumers' credit report and has also been reported to take legal action in order to place judgments on the consumers' credit report.
By federal law, collection agencies have the ability to place derogatory marks on the consumer's credit report, which may damage your credit score and can prevent lenders from approving you for new credit. With low credit scores, even if you are approved for the financing you wish, you can rest assured your interest rate will be high.
